I have a deep love of the ancient human practice of sound-making, and firmly believe that it is every human’s right to sing and express ourselves musically. Music-making is a birthright intrinsic to the human experience.

We are typically born to make sound before we form words and we have a great freedom in these early, pre-verbal stages of development. It’s largely when we form language and opinions, and begin to shape an ideology from our experiences, traumas, societal pressures, and perceived constraints and limits, that we can become nervous of full expression.

My job is to help you lean, stretch, and navigate your way into trying new things, even if there’s discomfort or fear there.

I’m here to support you and cheer you on!

CREATIVITY COACHING

Creativity coaching serves to help guide artists toward their vision for themselves and realise their artistic desires and potential. As artists, it can feel like a big, cold, unyielding world; we all face challenges we want to overcome, whether that’s coming from internal patterns and traumas, habits, or real or perceived external red tape or lack of resources. That can be very isolating and we can often feel different and alone. That’s where the power of community and having a dedicated mentor to champion you can be invaluable. (I have my own coach too!)

VOCAL LIFE COACHING

If exploring vocal tone/colour/resonance/new sounds, genres or styles, etc. is your focus or desire, then we will head in that direction. I will help you tailor a vocal practice around your specific vocal ambitions. With the help of my 30+ years of singing experience, together we can explore your vocal and creative potential!

SONGWRITING COACHING

I have a passion for creating safe, warm, loving spaces in which people can feel at ease to develop and express themselves, diving into realms of self that we are seldom encouraged to explore. Together we can unlock the joys of songwriting, tapping into creative desires and ambitions! You can bring with you to a session, your works-in-progress, creative blocks, and/or excitement for fresh musical direction. Whether you’re wanting to write your first song, or dust off an old idea, a Songwriting Coaching session is a great place to land for support.
